Seat belt and air bag please.....

In an accident, which do you think is more important, having your seat belt on, or the air bag being active?  While it is true  that individually these both can prevent you from being seriously hurt in an accident, there is no disputing the fact that together they save lives....subsequently, the same thing can be said with your faith.  The bible says in James 2:18; But someone will say [to you then], You [say you] have faith, and I have [good] works. Now you show me your [alleged] faith apart from any [good] works [if you can], and I by [good] works [of obedience] will show you my faith. In other words, by faith alone is not going to get it done, you have to also do you homework, put a word on it, pray about it, and act on it as if it has already been done!  By doing those things in conjunction with your faith, is how you see the miracle working power in the promises of God operate in your life.

Is your glass half empty, or is your glass half full?

Is your glass half empty, or is your glass half full?  Consider this, most of us around this time of the year tend to reflect back on the things that we should have, would have, or could have done.  In doing so we actually are missing the blessing.  Instead of trying to focus on if the glass is half full, or half empty, realize that you have something to drink!  Take the time out to appreciate what you do have in your life, not what you don't have or what you think is missing, because God has cared for you.  The Bible says in Philippians 4:11-13; Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am.  I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want.  I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].

Turn God's impossible to POSSIBLE!!!!!

Did you know there is only one thing that is impossible for God to do? I know you are asking yourself what is he talking about because that is crazy, but it is true, as powerful as God is, there is but one thing impossible for him to do. That is to impose his will for your life on you. You have to make a choice to say yes, for the bible says in Deuteronomy 30:19-20; I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live. And love God, your God, listening obediently to him, firmly embracing him. Oh yes, he is life itself, a long life settled on the soil that God, your God, promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In other words the choice is yours! In his original plan, God gave man dominion over the earth, and his own will and in doing so, as God, he is bound to his word. At this stage of the year we like to look back and think about what we have done and have not done as compared to what we have been praying and seeking God for, and just maybe if it has not been done, it is because God is still waiting on your permission! So today, choose to give the Lord your permission to operate in your life base on his will, and turn the impossible to POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God's Mathematical Equation...

In general algebra, there is nothing more challenging then to see the Quadratic Equation for the first time.  You see even at its most basic elements math is addition and subtraction, and such is life.  Life is just as basic, you are gaining something or giving something away.  The problem comes in play because the world will have you to think that when you give something away it is a bad thing and that you should hold on to everything you have or try to gain as much as you can no matter what you have to do to get it.  Conversely, when you learn to see things with your spiritual eye and through God's mathematical equation you soon develop a different view.  When you give something to God, you always end up with more than you started out with, in fact losing nothing, and gaining everything through Christ Jesus.  Often, when you give that thing up to God, weather it is your disappointments, fears, objections, jobs, relationships, school, set backs, or what ever the case maybe, what you get in return will be in spiritual blessings.  God's blessing; no matter what form it may take, is always more valuable that what ever you could have possibly given away!

Bear Fruit....

At times as Christians, it seems like all we do is go through.  Yes it is true that the Bible says that there will be trouble and that he has over come it for our sake, but, if you are anything like me, you still wonder what all the trouble is for, why do we have to go through?  Easy answer, to bare fruit!!!!! The Bible says in John 15:2-3; Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].  In other words the reason that you continue to go through is because you are baring fruit (which the enemy does not like, but that is another preach) and because God wants you to bear more fruit and richer and more excellent fruit.  God is just simple trying to get you to a point so deep within him that all you see is the fruit, continuously and perpetually in your life...So know this, you will have trouble and continue to do so, but know it is just the process of pruning you for the fruit to come!

Embrace the Change...

God is constantly trying to bring about a change in your life, yet we are constantly at battle trying to fight it, as if we know better.  That change is the very nature of life, - welcome it.  No glass ever became sand again; No bread ever became wheat; No ripened fruit ever became a flower. Welcome change, and choose what kind of glass you create, what kind of bread you bake, what kind of fruit you harvest.  Because ultimately, God knows best for you and the change in you he is bringing out of you, will benefit you and bless your life.  Embrace the Change!

Exercise Your Faith...

Every year around this time, most people begin to look back on the year and what they think they have accomplished and what they could do better going into the new year, and about 95% of them consider getting in shape and exercising their body to get fit or stay fit. But how many of us consider exercising our Faith to stay spiritually fit and righteous before God? The Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:7-12; For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come. Yes it is true that we face an adversary in the devil, but he has no dominion power over you, He is merely there to spar and training you for the ultimate battle which is you against yourself! Just look at the lives of saints, - most of them had gone through a dark night of the soul, and that's why their faith was so strong. The path to true faith always goes through trials. So ask those questions you've always been afraid to ask, and find the answers, and then your faith will become unshakable. In every opportunity look for a chance to put your faith on it and see God move for you, he is waiting for you!

Blessed

You ask why am I so blessed, and I say Lord for give them because they were not there for the mess. You think he favors me, but it is just that I decided to say yes to what ever he ask of me. I must admit that I am truly favored by the Lord and what you may think is me doing a good job, or great work, or making a way out of no way, is just how good the spirit of the Lord looks on me. Yes I am blessed, and not ashamed to admit it, I am loved and adored by the Lord, but the thing is, I love him, with all of me, even the reserved parts that you don't get to see. So when you see me working where I work, driving what ever I drive, living where I live and my family doing what a family will do, and you ask me how come, don't get offended when I say that it is nothing but the Lord, cause when you break it down, that, is what it is, the Lord our God, and I thank him for the many blessings he has given to me, but more so the blessing to others he has made me to be!

Walking in the Light...waking up to BEAUTIFUL

Today I awoke to Beautiful. Now if you never have experienced this let me try to illustrate it for you. It's the perfect mix of spiritual balance and practical application. It's the place where dreams and reality become on in the same. The place where the tangible manifestation of the blessings of God are ever present in your life. I can see where he carried me through, where he let me walk things out and where stuff just moved. Today I awoke to beautiful, where the spirit of God was so heavy it overwhelming took me to another level. I realize now why the enemy wants to take me out, but today I say you have no place because just like darkness can't exist in light, ugly can have no place in the presence of my beautiful life!

Vantage Point...

I must admit, even at times, I can be caught off by the enemy with my thought on how things are going and how they should be.  Yes it is true we are suppose to not pay attention to what is seen, but instead focus on what is not seen, but did you know there is also a way to deal with what is seen?  Your reality may not always match up to where you are in the spirit but there is a cure for this....Look again!  When things are not going well look again, when you find you are having that rough patch look again and put things in to perspective, that even though it is a rough patch, a bad day, or even a set back, it is just a moment, and small moment looking over the grand scale of your life.....the Bible says in 1 Kings 18:44; And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand.  I encourage you as I do my self, keep looking at your situation, keep putting a word on it, keep moving forward in the direction of change, keep pressing through trusting in Jesus that it is going to change because his word shall not return void.  It took the servant seven times, it may take you less or even more, but the point is, it changed for the better as the word of God said it would!!!!!!!

Just a thought...

Just a thought...if God is already busy with trying to do His thing in your life, why on Earth would you want to interrupt him with trying to do yours!

Hope in the Lord shall renew your strength....

Are you at a cross roads?  Are you feeling week, confused, unsure, lost, disoriented, or perplexed even?  LIfe's distractions and difficulties can sometimes get you down.  But what are you placing your hope and faith in?  The Bible says in Isaiah 40:31; But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.  Your faith in the Lord is expecting that his promise of strength will help us to rise above life's distractions and difficulties.  But do you believe God loves you and wants the absolute best for you?  You can relax and rest assure and be confident that his purposes are right and just for your life and in doing so you will find new joy in your living, new purpose in your life, and a happiness that surpasses all understanding!!!!!

54 days and counting....

54 days and counting.  That is how many days are remaining in 2011, and like most of us, you start to reflect on the things you wanted to get done this year, that you prayed for and believed God for, and you may be feeling some disappointment, because not all of it was done...or so it may seem.  You are giving up because seemingly it is not enough time yet, and it looks like it is a dead cause to even try at this point....54 days and counting.  But do we not serve and awesome and great God, the same God that spoke and raised Lazarus?  God has already prove that he can take a situation, that from the outside looks dead, and perform one of the greatest miracles and raise that thing from the dead and breathe new life into your dead situation....So what is it that you have written off for dead?  You promotion, your finances, your health, your marriage, your family, your friends, your relationship with God...no matter what the case, God can raise that thing from the dead and breathe new life into it!

You are now free to move about the country...

Never forget that God is taking you somewhere. Jesus spent his time showing his disciples his works with the understanding that greater would be the works they did. Not because of the magnitude of what they would do but instead because of the impact they would have. Your walk, your testimony, your story, will have a impact on someone, that is where God want to take you to a place where your life has a profound impact on the lives of someone else...Be A Blessing!!!

Better get Maaco.....

Our salvation, much like your car is very precious and must be protected at all times. None of us get saved with the intention of turning back to our old life style but it does happen much like a car getting into an accident. But it can be repaired through with the grace and mercy God has afforded us and the love of Jesus Christ. So if you are feeling like you have been in an auto accident, time to get Maaco and call on the name of Jesus for the Bible says it is above any other name, and can restore you back to your rightful position in him!

It shall not return to him void

Sometimes we get it all twisted up, trying to think of our next move, or see what we have to do to get to the next level, but we forget the most important thing when you have a word from God....that it is a word from God and thus, it will be accomplished for the Bible says in Isaiah 55:8-11, For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.  For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.  In other words, his word will not return unto him void, with out form, or lacking legal backing to accomplish the terms and conditions set for, it has all power because in the beginning was the word and the word was with him.  Simply put, you have a word from God for your life that has all form and power for your life, and will accomplish everything, not some, or part, but whole and in its entirety what it was said to do!!!!!!!

What are you investing in....

I love the stock market, the exchange, and what seemingly seems like a simple task of trial and error, is actually a brilliant battle of patience and diligence, just like our faith. You see, at the hight of all the talk about the Ford Motor Company issues their stock went down to something like a dollar, and at that point, we invested in them but other were pulling their money out as fast as they could, we were buying up stock...Little know fact, the only people that lost money during the drops in stocks were those that cash in and took their money out if you left it in there, you really did not loose anything, Fact is, we are like that with our faith. The moment things seem to be on the rocks, we are ready to cash in our chips and run for the hills. That's called "Wavering Faith." The Bible says in Romans 4:18-21 we should be fully convinced that God is able to do what ever it is he promised you. You see much like the stock market your faith walk with God, especially in the beginning, is going to have some ups and downs, but everything, must return to the mean! What I am trying to say is, just because things may not be going well, or you are still waiting on the promises of God, does not mean you cash in. Just because the values of your relationships, or your jobs have went down, does not necessarily mean it is time to withdrawal. Instead, do as God does, invest all in, and only then can you see things return to the mean, cause I promise you, your investment has to pay dividends because the word of God says so!... What ever you pay for, work hard at, take time with and invest in will mean something to you, but what ever you quit, leave behind, and withdrawal from will have little to know value left for you! If you are looking for some confirmation, just check out what Ford stock (http://money.cnn.com/quote/quote.html?symb=F)is selling for now, its 12x's as much as we invested in it at its lowest point!!!!! now that is a dividend!

Swing Away!!!!!!!!!

It's the World Series, game five with the series tied 2 and 2, bottom of the ninth, bases loaded with a full count, you look over to the coach and he says "swing away"!  What do you do the game is on the line?  The pitch is thrown.......But most of us do not see that we face this challenge everyday and the enemy is trying to strike us out, but God is over in the coaches box telling you to swing away, you got this!  All the trials, the difficulties the hard times you face, were just like practice getting you up to this point for the big game, and God is telling you to swing away!  Some of us have trained our entire lives for moment like we are facing now, God is telling you to swing away, All the tears, the long hours, the sweat, God is telling you to swing away...The Bible says in Psalm 27:13, "I am still confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!" Swing away!!!!!!But there Are those of us who once the ball is thrown, will sit back in the box, and with a full count against us, watch the ball come rolling over the plate for a strike out because they are not trusting in the Lord.  For the Bible says in Deuteronomy 1:32; In spite of this, you did not trust in the LORD your God, who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by night and in a cloud by day, to search out places for you to camp and to show you the way you should go. The Lord is telling you to swing away, so now with the full count and the bases loaded, what are you going to do, watch the ball come over the plate and miss out, or are you going to take a swing at it and trust in the Lord who has already went before you.....Swing Away!!!!!!

News Flash....extra, extra read all about it, your promise is here!!!!!!

Are you getting sick and tried of waiting on your miracle from God? Are you frustrated with the process? Well chances are you are all grown up and looking for milk instead of sitting down to eat at the table. There are two ways to live your life, as the bible says I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live. And love God, your God, listening obediently to him, firmly embracing him. Oh yes, he is life itself, a long life settled on the soil that God, your God, promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. News Flash, miracles are reserved for the unbelievers, for you, as the word of God says, have a promise. you can choose to sit back and wait on a miracle, or you can embrace the fact that you are a miracle, your entire life is such, and what you should focus on instead is looking for the promises of God to show up in your life!

Transform and roll out...

What do you think would happen if you took your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering?  Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed (transformed) from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

I once was blind but now I see...

I can remember almost to the day, when my kids started asking why? Even to this day, also the sermon that Pastor Rod Parsley spoke on when he talked about "why" being the seed to rebellion, and I can certainly understand the reason.  Because often times people come in and out of our lives, and when spend the majority of time trying to figure out why, same thing happens when God does something in our lives, through our lives, or surrounding our lives, whether it be good or bad in our eyes, the first thing we want to know is, "why Lord?"  I can only imagine this is how the blind man felt in John 9:25 when Jesus performed the miracle on him. He did not know how or why he was healed, but he did know this one thing, that God had touch him in a way that would forever change his life, and he was not ashamed nor afraid to talk about it.  You don't always need to know why God is doing what he is doing in your life, or all the answers to what is next, sometimes the blessing is found in just sharing with others how your life has changed because of it.  Simply sharing with others how Christ has touched you, can lead to an opportunity for the Lord to use your words, your situation, you miracle, you set back, your trials, your accomplishments, you promotion, your difficulties, to bless them in a life changing way!  So instead of trying to figure out why, focus on the change and sharing the good news about the change in your life, not only will it bless you, but others in return....

Green Eggs and Ham

One of my all time favorite stories is from Dr. Seuss, Green eggs and ham. I can not even count how many times I have read this book over and over again for my self, not to mention how many times I have read this for my children. Needless to say I lost count somewhere around the time of the twins. But I will never forget the story. The one character, Sam, tries to feed the other character, a plate of Green Eggs and Ham. Throughout the story, Sam goes through an assortment of locations (house, car, tree, train, box, boat) and dining partners (fox, goat, mouse) trying to persuade the unnamed character to eat and no matter what, the character still refuses to eat the eggs. We do the same thing when it comes to our life and the change that God wants to bring forth. Paul describes it best in Galatians 5:17, when he describes the conflict we face everyday between the changes the Holy Ghost wants to bring about us, and the old sinful nature that refuses to let go which is very important because it directly relates to our evil desires or inclinations that stem from our bodies, not unlike the refusal to eat the eggs and ham that Sam is offering because the body was not used to having such a thing. You see, when will we as the body of Christ learn that what God has for us is better then anything we could ever imagine for ourself. But at every step of the way, we try to fight him and argue our point with him instead of allowing the Holy Ghost to move in our lives, effectively bringing forth the change. Being led by the Holy Ghost takes the desire to want to change by hearing the word of God, then having the readiness to obey him and take him at his word. You see, just like in the story Green Eggs and Ham, the character Sam, was trying to get the other to try something he has never done before, just like the Holy Ghost is trying to get you to try God on for size instead. In the end of the story, the character finally gives the Green Eggs and Ham a try,

I like green eggs and ham!
I do!! I like them, Sam-I-am!
And I would eat them in a boat!
And I would eat them with a goat...
And I will eat them in the rain.
And in the dark. And on a train.
And in a car. And in a tree.
They are so good so good you see!

So I will eat them in a box.
And I will eat them with a fox.
And I will eat them in a house.
And I will eat them with a mouse.
And I will eat them here and there.
Say! I will eat them ANYWHERE!

I do so like
green eggs and ham!
Thank you!
Thank you,
Sam-I-am

When are you going to try your Green Eggs and Ham, I can promise you this, just like Sam did, you will like them, because the Lord God knows your most intimate desires of your heart! Stop resisting the change, next time you are giving the opportunity by the will of God for your life, try his way instead of your own!

A sign from God

I can remember a time when I used to pray and ask the Lord to send me a sign or something, to know that I am on the right path...But that was when I was a babe in Christ, now that I am older and wiser in the things of the Lord, I know longer look for signs and wonders, now I look for the promises of God but sometimes, even waiting on the promises to show up, can be a difficult task with our limited mind set. We let the world come and take advantage of us, as if we did not already know we were in a fight, and the catch us off guard. Almost like the fight the other day, we are so busy reaching out to the world with our arms open and chin up that the world is able to catch us with a right hook to the chin, and knock us out, and we get up stunned as if we should not have expected it. The Bible says that his word can not return unto him void and that it must accomplish the thing that was said, in that which it was sent, in other words, God has already spoken over your life and said what it is going to be, you need to line up your action with that word and seek it out daily looking for the promises of God, manifesting in the changes in your life. The time is over to seek and ask for a sign, it is now time to stand on his promises. (Isaiah 55:11)

Are you connected...

If you are like most people, you have at least three mobile devices you carry around on a daily basis. Your cell phone, which most of us say we can't leave without, your bluetooth, cause you want to be wireless, and possibly you ipad/pod for entertainment.  But as in touch and connect we are to the world around us, as your self this one important question, when it comes to your relationship with God, are you connected?  You see, your digital devices a a good reminder of how your relationship with the father should be. You cell phone represents your prayer life, you have an unlimited subscription giving you access to the father when ever you need him, or better yet, just to give thanks and be in his presence.  Your bluetooth represents what God wants in your life, which just like the bluetooth connection is a life with no limits and boundaries, for he wants you to live abundantly here on Earth in dominion power.  Lastly, the iPad/iPod that you use to access all different types of media streams, video, music, news, etc, represents what he wants you to be, which is all things to all people crossing all barriers to be able to deliver a timely word of God, to a much needed individual, but in order to achieve these things, you must be connect to the Father as he is connected to you as your source, and everything else around you a resource, for the Bible says in Matt 28:19-20, Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

The Deal of a Lifetime

What if someone walked up to you and offered you everything you ever dreamed of, would you take it.  Picture this, the perfect spouse, the greatest children, the best house money can buy, and the job that everyone wants to retire from, would you accept it.  Unlimited power, right at your finger tips, as Rumpelstiltskin would say, "the deal of a life time."  Or would you be able to walk away, knowing that it would cost you more then you really wanted to give up?  Satan did exactly that to Jesus in Matthew 4:9, imagine the biggest problem you think you are facing and the solution being handed to you on a silver plater!  The devil knows what it takes to motivate you, but the problem is that you can only serve one God, and although Jesus was tempted in every way possible the bible says, he had the Courage to turn to the enemy, recognizing who he was and told him to get out of his way, because he knew that by obtaining the gifts from God instead of thru the devil, was the keys to the kingdom.  It is true that God wants you to have the desires of your heart, cause he put them there in the first place, but the process he wants you to go through, unlike in the case of the devil will build you up from the inside to have the character to maintain what he gives you and to sustain it for generations to come....

What are you chasing after......

I can remember a time, not so long ago, when I was trying to do everything I could at work to get ahead, I was working long hours, over time, and it never seemed like it was enough.  I took job, without the proper consideration given to my family, dealing with shift changes, and not knowing long term what my hours were going to be, and most of all, missing out on things with the kids and my wife, chasing after the "all mighty dollar." Boy did I have it all wrong...although my intentions were good, cause it is true the bible says money is the answer to all things, it is the way in which we go after it were we can find fault. (Ecclesiastes 10:19) See what happens over time as your relationship develops more with the father, and you become comfortable with him being your Daddy, you learn that you would rather have his righteousness by seeking his kingdom above all else. (Matthew 6:33) For it is in seeking his kingdom, that we don't fall short, it is seeking his kingdom that we don't miss the mark, for it is seeking his kingdom that we develop the Courage to stand up for your faith even in times when you don't feel like it, or when things on the outside are not matching up with the word you have on the inside of your heart, it is in seeking his kingdom we find the Conviction to know what is right and what is wrong for our lives, because just like you been praying and fasting and believing in God for such things the devil hears those prayers as well, and will do his best to railroad you off the course by sending exactly what you think you need, instead of you waiting for what God has for you, was it not Jesus that the devil came back at an opportune time to temp him and try to steer him of course.  You see in seeking the kingdom of God, you develop the Commitment you need to walk out your salvation, and there you will find that all those things, that you cared for he has already cared for and therefore all those things will be added unto you!

Run Your Race......

There is nothing like looking back over my old track and field stuff. Those were some good times, from back when Chopticon won the Regional Title, to taking second place at states as a team with only four people going( that is when you actually had to qualify to go to the state meets), Those were the days....It took a lot of planning and preparing to run those races, not unlike the spiritual race that is set before you! The Bible says, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1-2). You have to learn how to prepare yourself and run your race, But the most difficult thing with that is playing to the crowd, see the on lookers, those watching your life on fold, because you will be on display, can unkowningly steer you of course but you have to hold fast and focus on the finish line, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

This is a true story of Mother’s Sacrifice during the Japan Earthquake....God loves you just the same!

This is a true story of Mother’s Sacrifice during the Japan Earthquake.
After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supporting by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head. With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescuer team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure.He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up.The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

It's not about you, it's about Jesus

Sometimes, we tend to take things so personal, that we actually hurt our  self in the process. Sure, if you live long enough, you are going to have ups and downs, good days and bad days, but that is just life, Don't take it personal. We get frustrated when things are not going our way, disappointed when we have not accomplished what we sat out to do, and sadden when we don't have what we think we should have, but all these mindsets, selfish in nature takes us as far away from the truth as we can be. The truth of the matter is, it is not about you, its about Jesus! Take for instance, John the Baptist. In his day he was highly respected, and know throughout the land. People would come from all over to be baptized by him, yet his entire ministry, was not about him, instead it was about preparing the way for Jesus. It was not about him, it was about someone yet to come. The Bible says in Mark 1:7-8, And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. He was speaking of the coming of Jesus. It was not about him. It really does not matter what you are facing right now, the loss of a job, a child gone astray, problems in your marriage, remember this, how you go through it is as important as going through it because in the end result, is for someone else, so in all that you do, give thanks and press through, because it's not about you, it's about Jesus!!!!

Breaking Up is Hard to do...

Dear Sin,

It seems like I have know you most of my life and I have felt good being with you but not whole, complete, lacking nothing.  But as you well know, you never really had my best interest at heart, only your own.  I will never forget that time you had me feeling all alone and with no place to turn, or the time you invited your friend over, Lust, Jealousy, Envy, and Strife, and they was not trying to leave.  And then of course there are the mixed messages because of the way you make me feel physically.  Which has made it difficult to move on, but I must.  And yes, there is someone else.  Someone who walks beside me and not behind me, Someone who responds to my needs before I even know I have them, as if he put them there, and he is someone who never, let’s me down!  Don’t take this the wrong way Sin, but I am proud to be associated with this person, and there is no point in you asking me their name because you already know them, their name is above all other names, but let me just say, the out look for us is glorious.

Even as I am writing you this letter, I am sure it comes as no surprise to you.  Communication is the key to a healthy relationship and ours has not been well.  You have kept me in the dark for so long, I thought I would never see the light!  Please don’t make this any more difficult then it has to be, you have played a major roll in my life, and I am sure you will try to continue to be, but you are not equipped to do so.  I have given my life to this person, and he has given his life up for me.

Take care of your self, cause I know he will be faithful to take care of me.

Forever His,
Me
