Win
How do you feel when you miss the mark? Does it eat you up, or does it just roll down your back. Just because you got it wrong does not mean you can not move forward. God wants you to get it right, and Jesus is praying your faith doesn't fail (Luke 22) "When you start accepting losses graciously, when it does not tear your guts out to lose, there is no meaning, and without meaning, where is the incentive to win?"

Perfect practice makes perfect II
My coach used to always say, " Perfect practice makes perfect" but what if you have not been practicing, not reading you word, not applying it to life, not paying attention, then what do you have, just average, just good, and sometimes good just ain't good enough when great is required!
Salvation
Salvation. We get caught up on the definition of salvation as it pertains to Theology. to deliver from the power and consequences of sin. But the word salvation coming from the root word Save(ed) also means to keep, as for reuse: God not only wanted... to save you from the power and consequences of sin he wanted to keep you from falling(Jude 1:24) in order to reuse(2 Chron 16:9) you to lead someone else to him!

10Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.

12And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.

Count the Cost
Imagine if God never did Save you, if the devil still had a hold over you, or better yet if you still had a hold over yourself....where would you be? Thank you Lord for Saving me, thank you for counting the cost and loving me as only you can. Today ...I will count that same cost, show that same love and be a reflection of your light in this world!
The shortest distance between two points
The shortest distance between two points is Jesus to God the father, so if you are feeling alone, can't find your way, or just need a pick me up then pray so that he hears you and i assure you there is not one prayer that you have ever prayed that he has not heard and answered! Be Blessed.
Greatness has to start somewhere, why not with me

God continuously uses the word IT
Often wondered why in Isaiah 55:11 God continuously uses the word IT, we are told to substitute IT for what he has spoken over us, well IT actually means: an emphatic predicate pronoun referring to the person, thing, situation, etc. which is considered ultimate, final, or perfect, in other words, when you substitute your thing for God's IT, not only will IT be accomplished but IT will be ultimate, final, or perfect!

He gives power to the faint and weary
"He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]" (Isaiah 40:29, AMP)

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Romans 4:20: No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God. As the rains fall today, let them Baptize this great Nation, let them wash away the pain and the hurt that some are feeling, let it flow into the cracks of our lives to show us where they are to make repair. Today as a Nation, let us cry, pray, and feel as one, remembering those lost in 9/11, while looking to prepare those still to come for our future. Wow, so you are heavy today and feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, nothing seems to be going right, the bills not paid, the job sucks and all you want to do is run away and hide, well have i got good news, what makes you think he can not do it for you, I Peter 5:7 says "cast your cares on me," He is therefore I Are!

HE IS SO THAT I ARE!
Everyday in our lives God trying to increase him in us and decrease us in the world. Have you ever stopped to think and measure up, based on your past, your friends and your situations, where would you truly be without him. He thought about us before the foundations of the Earth, so why is it that we could ever utter that he has forgotten us, truth be told, maybe we have forgotten him! HE IS SO THAT I ARE!

Authoritative Power
I know it can be said that i am guilty of not exercising my abilities to keep in shape, my mind, and others, but how many of us are guilty in not exercising the authority and dominion that God has given us on Earth. Today let's exercise that Authoritative power and dominion that we have here by speaking the word of God over everything we encounter today! (Genesis 1)

Even on your worst day, you got it good!
We tend to find ourselves caught up in the things of life & all the issues that we can imagine, but even on your worst day, someone has it far worst, so as you go throughout your day today, count it ALL joy when you fall into various trials, know...ing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.(James 1:2-4)

22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Time to slow down...
Time to slow down, often times we get so caught up with the event of life we find our selves rushing through it, even me, i rush and tend to forget something, why because we were not made that way, he formed us out of clay, he did not just slap it down and breathe into us, he formed us, time to slow down and get to the route of the issue.Take your time, he did with you! (Genesis 2)

It's not about you!
It's not about you, it's about the sacrifice. Here is where we miss it. What you go through and are dealing with at times, it may seem like it is killing you but in reality, it is not about you, it is about the sacrifice of going through it for someone else, and in turn because of your obedience, God will make sure your meal and oil will never run out. Make the sacrifice today for someone else!(1 Kings 17)

4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
5So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
6And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
7And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
8And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
9Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
10So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
12And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
15And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
17And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.
18And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?
19And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.
20And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
21And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.

23And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.
